Who we are
William Ray Valentine, LLC is a privately held founder's office built to turn possibility into progress. Since 1997, WRV has brought together management, holdings, research and development, and philanthropy under one deliberately eclectic roof. Today, the founder's office works in partnership with Elephant Cooperation, Sonance Cares, Sonance Lab, Sonance, and Strut Life.
Our work begins with the Founder's vision and moves through disciplined execution, thoughtful relationships, and long-horizon stewardship. Some initiatives grow into companies or investments. Others become experiments, collaborations, or philanthropic commitments. What connects them is a belief that creativity should be useful, people should be valued, and progress should leave the world better than we found it.
We operate quietly and personally, working across teams, partners, and communities to give strong ideas structure without diminishing their originality. We connect the right people, build durable systems, and help promising work move from imagination to tangible outcome.

Scott sets the vision and long-term direction for WRV. As Founder, he identifies the questions worth pursuing, the opportunities worth nurturing, and the people who can help bring unusual ideas to life. His role is to keep the company anchored in curiosity, conviction, and a responsibility to make its work matter.
President
Christine turns vision into coordinated action. As President, she guides day-to-day execution across WRV's varied portfolio, bringing people, priorities, and systems into alignment. She leads with calm accountability and warmth—strengthening teams, supporting partners, and ensuring that creative ambition becomes thoughtful, durable work.

Scott and Christine pair imagination with execution: one defining the horizon, the other building the path toward it. Their shared aim is simple—fuel innovation, connect people, and create positive change with care.
